How to order your wedding stationeryWe aim to make the ordering of your wedding stationery as simple as possible, which is why we have produced this step-by-step guide to ordering. Should you be unsure about anything, please contact us. You should aim to send your invitations out six / eight weeks before your wedding date. Ideally we need 4 weeks prior to this to ensure your order is completed. For last-minute or urgent orders, we can provide an “Express” Wedding service. There is an additional charge of £15.00 and the order will be supplied within two weeks (orders may be available sooner depending on the design selected), please contact us for details. The earlier you order the better, it allows you to spread the cost and ease any stress before the wedding. We have clients who order a year before their wedding, so please do not worry if you want to order your stationery earlier. As we do not have any minimum order numbers you can order exactly want you need. We need exact numbers for producing invitations however other items can be estimated until you have some replies. You many need 5 less place settings or 3 extra order of services- we are able to cater for this, but we do need time. If good estimates are given we will have enough materials to make more than you require and there will be no need to worry about extra items. Step by Step guide to ordering 1. Browse through the designs and select your favourite one. 2. You can order a number of samples if you would like to view more than one card 3. You need to decide upon which stationery products you will require for your wedding - i.e. invitations, order of service and place cards 4. Select the font for your stationery. This will be used throughout the design range to give a coordinated effect (i.e. both inside and on the front of the cards). 5. Decide on the quantity of each item you wish to order. We have no minimum requirements. 6. Choose the wording for each product of stationery. Some examples of different styles are shown in the wording and fonts section, or if you wish, supply your own wording for a more personal touch. 7. Once you have done steps 1-7 simply fill in the order form and post it to us along with your 50% deposit and email us (somethingspecialcards@yahoo.co.uk - any wordings and/or guests names (great time saver). If you are paying by Euro you must pay in full for your order and a €15 bank charge is added.
Postage We post all order recorded delivery. You must sign for your order. The price of postage includes insurance. Therefore if anything should happen to your order during delivery we will claim the insurance and remake your stationery. Sterling Orders Less £50 = £7.50 Orders £50-£200 = £12.50 Orders over £200 = £15 Euro Orders up to €150 = €25 Orders Over €150 = €35 8. Upon receipt of your deposit and order form we will provide free proofs of each item to ensure all the wordings are correct before dispatch. These proofs will be posted to you and must be signed and returned for your order to commence. 9. We will send you an invoice for the remaining 50% of your stationery order. This needs to be paid in full before your stationery is collected or dispatched by post. Please make all cheques payable to : Something Special Rules of Purchase
